The first locomotive we are producing is the VULCAN; a capable and simple to maintain 0-4-0 freelance dock shunter that uses a 1 horse power 24 volt electric motor powered by two 12 volt batteries. The VULCAN is 3 feet long, convenient to store, and will comfortably fit into the boot of most family cars for transport.

Our goal is to help anyone with an interest in 7¼ gauge miniature railways to quickly and easily become involved in the building and running of their own locomotive and rolling stock without the need for engineering experience and owning expensive machinery.
We aim to provide customers with a package that is tailored to their individual needs so that a good quality and powerful locomotive can be built quickly and easily.
This is achieved by ensuring that you benefit from industrial design, machining and techniques that ensure high quality work and the convenience of finished components.
A comprehensive kit of laser cut, folded and machined parts is available ready for assembly using basic workshop tools and facilities. This includes a 'How to Build it' guide.
For those who are keen to simply get out onto the club track a ready to "couple-up and drive" locomotive is available.
On the other hand those with workshop facilities and engineering skills may wish to build a locomotive from scratch using the drawings and any parts they wish to buy.
What is more, any stages or components can be built up ready for you; it is simply a matter of deciding exactly how much you want to do yourself.
